Incorrect power measurements may be caused by a number of factors, including incorrect measuring mode settings, wiring errors, inappropriate transformer selection and settings, and incorrect power supply selection.
Check the measurement mode setting: the measurement mode is divided into angular connection measurement and star connection measurement, different measurement modes, there are different measurement method.If the actual wiring method is not consistent with the settings on the instrument, it will lead to inaccurate measurement.
Ensure wiring is correct: Make connections as indicated on the wiring diagram, including confirming that the three-phase and current transformer flow directions remain the same, following the arrows that indicate the flow direction from the source to the load.
Check the selection and setting of the transformer: the appropriate transformer should be selected according to the measured range, for the current transformer, when the actual current value is lower than 5% of the rated current value of the transformer, inaccurate measurement will occur. At the same time, the ratio set on the instrument should be consistent with the actual selection of transformers.
Check the power supply: Ensure that meters and other measuring devices use a reasonable power supply to avoid errors caused by insufficient power supply.

When wiring, attention should be paid to the wiring sequence. The shunt is not divided into positive and negative poles, but the energy meter should be wired with care to prevent damage to the equipment by reversing the wiring.
Other resistive components, including but not limited to circuit breakers, switches, light bulbs, etc., are prohibited in the circuit connected to the shunt to prevent voltage loops that could damage the meter.
Under prolonged operation, the actual current is recommended not to exceed 80% of the rated current.
The meter must be installed with the shunt in the same box, otherwise it will affect the accuracy of measurement.

Meter communication anomalies are divided into two types,prolonged and intermittent If the meter fails to communicate normally for a long time, the problem of parameter setting and component damage is given priority.
First check the parameter settings, confirm that the parameters of the meter(address, baud rate, etc.) and the parameters set by the host computer correspond to each other, and then test whether there is a voltage value of about 2V between the communication ports,which is used to determine the situation of the resistive components in the communication circuit.
If the intermittent communication is abnormal, consider the cable selection.
Correct cable selection and wiring:
With a two-wire cable, the communication port is simply connected to the host computer's communication port.
With a three-conductor cable, the communication port is connected to the communication port of the host computer, and the common terminal is connected to the GND of the host computer.
